    Netaji Subash Chandra Bose visited Korai when he was in Cuttact, and takenup relief work during flood in 1930s. His memorable Homoeopathic box is available with Hazari family of Korai. Korai is the birth place of Late Nilamani Sahoo,Eminent Primary School teachers who taught in the method of Joy of learning during 1940s. Korai village is the birth place of Eminet Oriya writer Sri Nanda Kishor Singh whose plays, songs always broadcasted by All India Radio.
